CCC was founded in 1973 and provided financial services, such as payroll and customized billing applications to a variety of businesses. In 1977, CCC acquired a medical billing software company and began serving physician practices. In 1979, CCC introduced an Online Billing Service using a mainframe billing system. The Revenue Cycle Management Division was created in 1989 to further assist physicians with their medical billing and collection needs.
